Join AWWEE at Touchstone Brewing Company for an evening of learning, networking, and trivia!
Hear from guest speaker Amy Talbot about the Regional Water Authority’s (RWA) partnership with local breweries through its innovative “Saving Water One Beer at a Time” campaign.
RWA’s Water Efficiency Program brings together 19 participants serving 2.2 million people across the Sacramento region. After a series of winter storms refilled California’s reservoirs in early 2024, water providers faced a new challenge: how do you keep the public engaged in water efficiency when there is no drought?
RWA responded by partnering with local craft breweries to highlight the important role water plays in making great beer, while sharing practical ways customers can use water wisely.
Following the presentation, stick around for trivia beginning at 7:30 PM! Put your knowledge to the test with general trivia, plus a few water and energy questions mixed in just for our AWWEE crowd. Grab a drink, gather your team, and put on your trivia caps. Friendly competition is encouraged!
Come learn something new, have some fun, and connect with fellow AWWEE members and professionals in the water, energy, and environmental fields.
