The majority of AWWEE events are organized by active AWWEE members who volunteer their time and talent for the benefit of the community.

In-person AWWEE events are organized throughout California by five regional volunteer teams. Virtual webinar AWWEE events are on topics relevant to the water, energy, and environmental industries, as well as general professional development events, are organized by one volunteer team.
