Does your day not really start until you’ve had your first (or maybe second) cup of coffee? If you’re like us, you might drink it so fast that you don’t really have time to appreciate the difference in roasts and flavors. We invite you to slow down and join fellow AWWEE members and Sweet Maria’s Coffee for this special virtual coffee tasting event.
Logistics
We will be tasting Ethiopia Organic Sidama Bombe coffee for this event.
The whole bean coffee is $17.50 for one pound + shipping. You will need access to grind the coffee for the event. Reference Sweet Maria’s coffee brewing guide. Estimated total cost to participate in this event is ~$25
It will not be in stock until the end of July, so we are taking pre-registrations now and as soon as the coffee is available, registered participants will receive purchasing instructions along with a code for AWWEE members to take 20% off your purchase.
Once the beans are in stock, participants must order by Thursday July 30 to receive the coffee prior to the event.
On the morning of August 5, we’ll sign on to the webinar with our fresh hot cups of coffee and be joined by a member of the Sweet Maria’s team who will walk us through the tasting and discuss where the coffee comes from, the journey from farm to cup, and discuss the roasting process and how you can roast your own beans at home!
