From Farm to Table: How Community Supported Agriculture Supports a Healthier Climate and Community

  • FoodShed Inc. 4089 Fairmount Avenue San Diego, California, 92105 United States (map)

Eat Local. Support Local. Make an Impact.

Join FoodShed Cooperative and AWWEE for a hands-on conversation about the role local food systems play in building a more sustainable and resilient future. Learn how Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs support local farmers, reduce environmental impacts, strengthen regional food security, improve health, and provide access to fresh, seasonal (and delicious!) produce.

Through a guided CSA box exploration, practical tips for storing and using seasonal produce, and a simple cooking demonstration, participants will discover easy and exciting ways to incorporate local food into their daily lives.

Whether you're a longtime CSA member or simply curious about local food, you'll leave with ideas, recipes, and inspiration for making climate-friendly food choices that benefit both people and the planet... and the power of food in bringing people together.
