Join us to discover and enjoy nature on this urban-to-forest trail!
On this nature hike led by biologist and fellow AWWEE member, Lily Sam, we’ll learn about the local fauna and flora of the Arroyo Seco and Angeles National Forest and record our observations on the iNaturalist app to contribute to biodiversity data. We will also likely see part of the surroundings burned by the Station Fire and will discuss how ecosystems recover from wildfire.
After the hike, we’ll gather at Penelope's Cafe Books & Gallery to enjoy a light snack hosted by AWWEE.
