Preparing for Wildfire Season: PSPS, Safety, and Resilience

As California enters another wildfire season, understanding how utilities, communities, and individuals can prepare for elevated fire risk is more important than ever.

Join us for an informative panel discussion on Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS), wildfire preparedness, and community resiliency. Panelists will share insights on wildfire risk factors, the decision-making process behind PSPS events, efforts to strengthen and harden the electric grid, and resources available to help customers prepare for potential outages.

Participants will gain a better understanding of how weather conditions, vegetation management, infrastructure improvements, and emergency preparedness strategies work together to reduce wildfire risk and support public safety. The webinar will also highlight practical steps individuals can take to stay informed, build resilience, and prepare their households and communities for the wildfire season.
