Tour of East Bay Municipal Utilities District's (EBMUD) Wastewater Treatment Plant

AWWEE is excited to collaborate with the Society of Women Engineers Golden Gate Chapter to bring members of both groups together for this event.

Most people don’t give much thought to what happens to dirty water after it goes down the drain or is flushed down the toilet. We don’t often think about the complex system that collects, cleans and treats wastewater.

Join fellow AWWEE and SWE members for this firsthand look of water reclamation through a behind the scenes tour of East Bay Municipal Utilities District’s (EBMUD) Main Wastewater Treatment Plant. The tour promises to give participants an appreciation for the role of wastewater treatment in our community’s health and sustainability.

Registration

Registration is free for for a limited number of AWWEE and SWE members.
