EMILY ROGERS

We are excited to introduce Emily Rogers, a Managing Consultant at Energy and Environmental Economics (E3). Emily’s work focuses on valuation of renewables and battery storage, impacts of transportation electrification, and market dynamics in CAISO and ERCOT. She leads the E3 RESTORE optimization tool to evaluate battery storage dispatch and revenues as well as vehicle grid integration.

When asked what she enjoys most about her job, Emily told us she appreciates being able to work on a diverse set of impactful projects supporting the clean energy transition. She is grateful to have found a role that combines her engineering educational background with communication and presenting to many different types of clients such as developers, investors, automakers, and utilities.

Emily has been an AWWEE member since 2019.  In that time, she's participated in a dozen events and three cohorts of The Exchange mentorship program, where she has tapped into the knowledge and experience of fellow women in the energy field. Emily remembers her first AWWEE event at the CAISO headquarters control room fondly!

In her free time, Emily enjoys baking, traveling, swimming, and taking walks in San Francisco’s Crane Cove Park, which was a formerly major industrial center and has a decommissioned power plant! Check out Emily at local music venues and bars around San Francisco, she plays alto saxophone in an indie rock band!
