Step outside and discover regenerative agriculture in action during a guided walking tour of Soil Born Farms, a 55 acre urban farm and education center nestled along the American River.
Founded in 2000, Soil Born Farms works to create a healthier, more sustainable food system while connecting people to the land, their food, and one another. During the tour, Soil Born Farms staff will share how regenerative farming practices, environmental stewardship, and community education come together across the farm.
Following the tour, stick around for a casual picnic with the AWWEE community. Bring your lunch, find a spot to relax, and enjoy conversation and connection with fellow attendees. AWWEE will provide drinks.
