Meet Mayela: Ask Me Anything with AWWEE’s New Executive Director

AWWEE is entering an exciting new chapter, and we want you to be part of it! We’re delighted to introduce our new Executive Director, Mayela Manasjan, in a special member-only Ask Me Anything event designed to spark conversation, connection, and community.

Mayela Manasjan brings with her a passion for environmental leadership, community engagement, and building meaningful connections, and this is your chance to get to know her from the start.

The event will begin with a conversation led by our Board President Janna McDavid, who will ask Mayela about her journey, her vision for AWWEE, and what inspires her work. From there, we’ll open the floor to your questions. No topic is too big or too small, whether you’re curious about Mayela’s leadership style, her ideas for the future of AWWEE, or simply want to know what motivates her outside of work, this is your opportunity to connect directly.

This will not be a formal presentation, but a casual and interactive gathering where you help shape the conversation. Think of it as sitting down for coffee with a new friend: open, authentic, and full of possibility.

Whether you’ve been part of AWWEE for years or are new to our community, your voice and your perspective matter. Come join us in welcoming Mayela, ask the questions on your mind, and help us build the next chapter of AWWEE together.
