Brunch & Learn: Creating A Water-Wise Garden

AWWEE’s Sacramento event planning team looks forward to seeing you at their first in-person educational event of 2024. Mingle with fellow AWWEE members over a family-style brunch at the High Hand Nursery Cafe, then enjoy a presentation by Master Gardener, Marianne Calhoun, on six steps to create a water-wise garden.

We’ll end the event with a stroll through the nursery where Mariann will share her knowledge of the plans, and offer plant recommendations.

If spring gardening is in your plans this year, you won’t want to miss this special event.

Marianne Calhoun, Master Gardener

After being raised on the East Coast, Marianne moved to the West Coast over 30 years ago. Upon retiring, she studied landscape design and horticulture. She became a Master Gardener in 2019.

Marianne documented the transformation of her own property to a water-wise garden over a six-year period. She is very passionate about sharing different approaches, lessons she has learned, different plant recommendations, and other resources with us!

Registration

Space is limited for this special event. Registration includes family-style brunch.
