Due to the forecasted high temperature, the weather conditions are not favorable for hosting the Land Use Learning Center tour this Saturday. For the safety and comfort of all participants, we have cancelled this event. We hope to bring this event back when temperatures cool down.
The Land Use Learning Center is a unique demonstration garden showcasing sustainable practices across three key land uses: Native Habitats, Urban Areas, and Agriculture.
During the tour, you'll learn about local native plants and wildlife, as well as explore practical approaches to conserving natural resources. Topics include habitat conservation and restoration, eco-friendly yard management, and sustainable farming techniques.
AWWEE will offer light refreshments during check-in. Participants are also welcome to bring their own drinks and additional food to enjoy a picnic after the event.
Registration
Registration is free for both AWWEE members and non-members! Each registrant may bring up to two guests—just be sure to indicate the number of guests on your registration form.
