Come and learn about the American River Watershed. We’ll start with a nice morning walk to view Folsom Dam from afar. Afterwards, we’ll tour the American River Water Education Center with a docent to get a deep dive about the watershed, Folsom Dam, and the importance of water. We’ll end the event by touring the Center’s water efficient landscape garden to learn about native and drought-tolerant plants.

Coffee and breakfast bites will be provided. Parking is free. Attendees are also welcome to stay after the event ends to explore the area further.
