California and the US are rapidly scaling the production of electric vehicles and transitioning all forms of transportation to run on electric batteries. What happens when the battery can no longer power a vehicle? Can the batteries themselves and/or the valuable materials within them find a second life?
This panel will discuss the re-use and recycling options that California regulators and automakers are hoping to ramp up quickly to accommodate a more fully-electrified transportation sector.
