For this event, we’ll be joined by two experts in home energy conservation who will share recommendations for how individuals can conserve energy at home and discuss how utilities are using incentives to encourage consumers to conserve.

About Our Speakers
Nancy Barba, a Los Angeles native, is committed to an equitable and inclusive sustainable energy future. At Frontier Energy she leads the Los Angeles team in supporting regional energy networks, community choice aggregators, and utilities in achieving their energy efficiency goals through energy efficiency program design, implementation, administration and regulatory support. She works closely with counties, councils of government, and state financing agencies. She oversees marketing, outreach, education and training to homeowners, contractors and dealers. In her spare time, she serves as a Commissioner in the City of Culver City Planning Commission.
Elaine is a native Californian who has found a passion in helping San Diego Gas & Electric customers meet their Greenhouse Gas and Energy Efficiency goals. She earned a Masters in Computer Science and served in the IT industry for close to 20 years. She has been working for SDG&E for the last five years in their Energy Efficiency department, and currently serves as the Energy Efficiency Core Program Manager. In this role, she works closely with regulators to champion the CPUC’s defined goals for Energy Efficiency. Her team creates, administers and implements programs designed to help both Residential and Non-Residential customers of SDG&E to promote and obtain Energy Efficiency in their homes and operations.
