Tour of Homeboy Industries’ Electronics Recycling Center: “A Better Way to Recycle”

Join fellow AWWEE members for this unique in-person tour of the Homeboy Industries recycling facilities and learn more about the crucial role of electronic recycles as a part of conserving resources, reducing environmental impact, and practicing socially focused unique business models.

We are lucky to have an opportunity visit the electronics recycling facility that is part of Homeboy Industries, which began in 1988 to assist former gang members in East Los Angeles, has expanded into the world's largest initiative for gang intervention, rehabilitation, and re-entry.

Homeboy Electronics Recycling is an award-winning, full-service IT asset disposition and electronics recycling company designed to create employment opportunities for formerly incarcerated men and women.
