Step away from the office and join AWWEE for a meaningful day of service, learning, and connection at Acta Non Verba Farm.
This special volunteer experience with Acta Non Verba Farm (ANV Farm) offers an opportunity to engage directly with the important work of urban agriculture while supporting a nonprofit organization dedicated to food justice, youth empowerment, and community wellness.
Participants will enjoy a guided introduction to the farm and learn how ANV Farm is creating healthier, more resilient communities through hands-on environmental stewardship and education. Following the introduction, attendees will roll up their sleeves and contribute to seasonal farm projects alongside fellow AWWEE members and ANV Farm staff.
Volunteer activities may include planting, seeding, and transplanting crops, weeding and watering garden beds, harvesting fresh produce for community distribution, and supporting general farm upkeep through mulching, composting, and organizing tools. Activities will vary based on the farm’s needs and seasonal priorities.
Whether you are passionate about sustainability, interested in environmental justice, or simply looking for a rewarding way to give back, this event offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature, community, and fellow professionals while making a meaningful impact.
