About Our Speaker
Lanaya Voelz Alexander
Assistant General Manager, Planning, Engineering, and Construction
Eastern Municipal Water District
Lanaya Voelz Alexander has more than 25 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure planning and project execution and is responsible for implementation of EMWD’s Capital Improvement Program, development services, and environmental and regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining EMWD, Ms. Alexander was a Vice President at a global engineering and construction company, where she served as the principal-in-charge and senior project manager for a variety of complex projects and programs. Ms. Alexander is a registered professional engineer in the State of California, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.
