Join us on a guided tour of the San José-Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility (RWF) with an optional networking lunch!
This tour offers an in-depth look at how wastewater is treated at one of the largest and most advanced wastewater facilities in the western United States. Visit and learn the various stages of wastewater treatment as it goes from untreated sewage through debris removal and three-step processing to be released as pure water into South San Francisco Bay.
After the tour, enjoy an optional lunch while you learn about the state-of-the art Environmental Services Laboratory and a presentation on the RWF’s new division, Regulatory Affairs and Purified Water, that is converting wastewater to drinking water.
